MID YEAR ASSESSMENTS

The Mid Year Assessments of The SET School are going to start on coming Friday i.e. November 13, 09. The assessments will end on 24 of the same month (Insha Allah). After that the students and the staff will enjoy Eid ul Azha holidays. However, the date of the holidays is not announced as yet. Anyway, the students are wished a Good Luck for their exams. Don’t forget to read tips for study schedule!

CONCERNS OF THE MANGEMENT ABOUT SECURITY OF THE STUDENTS

As far as the security situation in Pakistan has become a serious issue in every way. No one is safe and secure from the threats of Taliban as they have started killing the people for no reasons. The situation got worse when innocent children and women were also targeted and killed in a bomb blast (Peshawar) a few days back.

The Management of The SET School took it seriously and showed its serious concern to increase the security of the students. Madam Samina, the Principal took her staff in confidence and instructed it to be vigilant and alert especially on off timing of the school. The students were also briefed about their security arrangements made by the Management.

Now, the students leave the school under all teachers’ supervision. Moreover, all hawkers are prohibited to stand and sell outside of the school. Every individual of The SET School wishes for peace and prosperity of our beloved homeland ‘Pakistan.’

IBAD AND MURTAZA'S VISIT TO SCHOOL

After week's of planning , at last the administrators of the SET School Blog have visited the School. This visit was due to happen this past Monday but due to some co-ordination lapse it was canceled. After the cancellation of the visit, Ms.Saira played an important role in reorganizing this visit, she co ordinated with the Principal and at last the plan was finalized that the visit would take place this Friday. As per planned the visit took place today. Ibad and Murtaza both demonstrated about how to use the Blog facility. Firstly they Demonstrated it to the Senior classes which include the Matric Class and the Ninth class, after this they went to each Class and gave a brief description of the Blog. Afterwards the Students who were interested in working for the blog were made authors and were given the membership of the BLOG, they also demonstrated the use of Blog to different Teacher's and gathered some pictures from the School.

PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATES WIIL BE AVALIABLE BY TOMMOROW.

After a conversation with the Principal we have come to know that the provisional certificates for the Ex-Matric Students will be available by tomorrow. She also told that these certificates can be collected from the School at about 3:00 pm in the afternoon. According to plans of the Alumni (boy's) Ibad will receive the provisional certificates from the School and will hand them over to the other member's present in the meeting of SET Blog administration, which is going to take place tomorrow in the evening.

SET BLOG ADMIN TO HOLD A MEETING

The all awaited meeting of the SET Blog Administration is InshALLAH going to take place this Tuesday. According to reports this meeting is going to be one of the most important meeting regarding the blog . Sources have also told that the admin has already come up with great idea which can prove to be helpful to improve the ratings of the blog. Along with this many new ideas are going to be shared.

ALUMINI MEETING

The SET Post: On the auspicious occasion of the Independence day function the SET School ALUMNI were also invited. About 80% of the Alumni attended the function and later on also were indulged in the meeting with the School Administration. The main aim of this meeting was the formation of the SET School Alumni Society. During this lengthy meeting which lasted more than an hour some important decisions were made about the Alumni Society. Though on the whole the meeting had no shocking results and ended after the layout of the Alumni society was formed. During the discussion it was decided that Alumni Society will hold meeting's after every three month's. Another Important decision which was made that Alumni Society will have two Co-coordinators who will remain active for three month's and at every meeting the post will change hands. According to the plans next meeting is likely to be held round about 14th of November this year.

BSEK SSC Part 2 Results announced: The SET School Achieves 100% Score

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi announced the S.S.C Part II results here on Wednesday 15th July 2009. All the students of The SET School have done exceptionally well and the scores are quite good.Eight out of 12 students have achieved shining A+ grades two have got A grades while the remaining two students have received B grades respectively. The overall result is satisfying keeping in mind that this is the result of the first batch.We would like to congratulate the students and teachers,the parents and the school administration for their combined efforts in achieving such a marvelous result.Details are given above..
